Das Entwicklungsteam bei Smith hat in den letzten 2 1/2 Jahren viel Energie in den nun schon so lange geforderten Fullface Helm gesteckt. Sie wollten einen "Best-in-class" Helm machen und haben deswegen alle Hebel in Bewegung gesetzt. Das Rocky Mountain Enduro Team war Maßgeblich an der Entwicklung beteiligt. Viele Faktoren mussten mit einbezogen werden und der Weg bis zur ultimativen Lösung war lang. Ab sofort gibt es den Smith Mainline Mips mit Koroyd Technologie bei den besten Händlern. Der offizielle, große Launch wird erst im August sein.
